Tunika Onnekikami

Tunika is Data & Society’s Assistant Producer for events on the Strategy & Engagement team. A versatile storyteller and producer, Tunika is excited to support D&S’s work and research and to expand her own knowledge. Her ever-evolving understandings of our technological present and futures are rooted in cultural anthropology and science and technology studies—with special interest on its relationship to Blackness, the African Diaspora, and non-Western communities; womanism and gender; and socioeconomic inequality.

Prior to joining Data & Society, Tunika worked with organizations like Invisible Hand, Weber Shandwick, Global Health Corps, and Kaiser Permanente. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.
