Chris Redwood (he/him/his) is the Communications Production Manager at Data & Society. He works with a cadré of brilliant minds to produce powerful research and insightful perspectives about the impact of data-centric technologies on society. His interests lie at the intersections of race, equity, and civic engagement.
Chris’ professional career includes designing and producing print and digital projects for numerous organizations including NARAL, PBS, SEIU, and Science magazine as well as developing marketing solutions for small businesses.
Some of his accomplishments include creating campaign material for the 2004 March for Women’s Lives on Washington, writing and self-publishing a cultural travel guide to Washington, DC, launching a marketing communications start-up, participating in organizational planning for The Southwest Partnership, and leading neighborhood revitalization efforts in his community.
In his spare time, Chris advocates for equitable community building, neighborhood beautification, and environmental improvement activities in Baltimore. He’s also a fan of good music, travel, a DIYer, and enjoys spending quality time with his adorable nine-year-old godson.
Chris is an inaugural alum of Americorps, and a former Baltimore Corps fellow (cohort 5). He received his undergraduate degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
