Caroline Jack

Caroline Jack is a media historian who researches histories of media, technology, persuasion, and capitalism in the United States, from the mid-twentieth century through the present day. She received her Ph.D. in Communication from Cornell University in 2016, after which she held a two-year appointment as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Data & Society.

Caroline’s research has been published in the Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, IEEE Annals of the History of Computing, and Enterprise & Society. She is the author of Lexicon of Lies: Terms for Problematic Information (2017, Data & Society Research Institute).
